Graduate Credit Requirements

What new information, research, and/or practices did you learn at SPED 2025?

How will this new knowledge change your current role?

Provide a specific example of a new strategy or lesson plan you will incorporate.

The written assignment must follow these guidelines:

2-pages typed double space and using 12 point font.

Standard 8.5 x 11 paper with 1” margins

Times New Roman or Arial Font

Completed assignments are Due by April 22, 2026 and can be submitted on this under the “Assignment Submittal” tab.

*Note: Credit will be applied mid-May 2026 at the conclusion of the USD Spring Semester. If you have questions regarding your graduate credit or transcript, please contact USD Registrar’s Office at 605-677-5339.
The SPED 2026 Conference offers 1 (15 hour) graduate credit from the University of South Dakota (USD). The cost for the credit is $40 which is not included in the SPED 2026 conference registration.
*To earn graduate credit you must attend the conference sessions live on March 3 & 4, 2025. No exceptions will be made to this requirement.*
Complete a graduate credit registration with credit/debit card by scanning the QR code below. You will be emailed confirmation on your payment from USD. If you do not receive a confirmation email contact the USD Registration Office at 1-877-209-0837 or 605-677-5339. A paper registration form is also available at the conference if you choose to pay by check or cash. Registration must be completed by the end of the SPED 2026 conference.
